Product Listing

The "Product Listing" page is used in multiple places of Dealers Online; "Specials", "Low Stock", "Browse Categories", and when displaying Search results.

Products are listed with basic information (such as Description, Code, Minimum Quantity, and Price), symbols to indicate something unique about a product (such as "New", "Special" or "Kit"), and fields for ordering directly from the Product List.

Product Information

The following information is listed for each product.

Description

A short description of the product.

Code

The product stock code.

Discount ^{(if accessible)}

Indicates if the product has is on discount.

Min. Qty. ^{(if accessible)}

Minimum order quantity of the product.

Free Stock ^{(if accessible)}

Amount of avaiable free stock of the product.

Price ^{(if accessible)}

The unit price of this product.

Quantity

An input field, for entering a quantity to order the product.

To order the product directly from the product listing:

1. Enter the quantity you would like to order.
2. Either;
• Click "Add", next to the quantity field to order this product and jump directly to Your Cart, or
• Scroll to the end of the product listing (entering quantities for other products that you want to order), and click "Add quantities to cart" at the end.

Product Listing symbols

Products with interesting statuses (such as being new, on special, or a kit), are indicated by a descriptive label and corresponding icon.

New

Recently added products are marked as "NEW".

Specials

Products that are currently on special are marked as "SPECIAL".

Kit

Products which are kits (comprised of multiple components) are marked as "KIT".

Viewing product details

From the Product Listing:

1. Click on any of the following;
• Symbol text (ie, "NEW", "SPECIAL" or "KIT") in the Product Description column or
• The product name/description in the Product Description column or
• The product code in the Code column.
2. The Product Page for that product is displayed.

Sorting the Product Listing

Sort products by description

To sort products by product description:

1. Click column heading Product Description in the Product Listing.
• The Product Listing will now be sorted by product description.
2. Click the column heading Product Description again to reverse the sorting order.

Sort products by code

To sort products by product code:

1. Click column heading Code in the Product Listing.
• The Product Listing will now be sorted by code.
2. Click the column heading Code again to reverse the sorting order.

Sort products by price ^{(if accessible)}

To sort products by price:

1. Click column heading Price in the Product Listing.
• The Product Listing will now be sorted by price.
2. Click the column heading Price again to reverse the sorting order.

Ordering from the Product Listing

Ordering a single product

To order any quantity of a single product from the Product Listing:

1. Find the desired product within the Product Listing.
2. Enter the quantity required in the "Quantity" box alongside the product.
• The quantity entered may be validated; ^{(Depending on the configuration of Dealers Online)}
• Quantity must be greater than the minimum quantity (Min Qty)
• Quantity must be less than or equal to the free stock (Free Stock).
3. Click the "Add" button beside the quantity entered;
1. This will take you to the Items & Quantities section of the Your Cart page.
2. The items and quantities ordered will be shown.

Ordering a multiple products

To order any quantity of multiple products from the Product Listing:

1. Find the desired products within the Product Listing.
2. Enter the quantity required in the "Quantity" box alongside each product.
• The quantities entered may be validated; ^{(Depending on the configuration of Dealers Online)}
• Quantity must be greater than the minimum quantity (Min Qty)
• Quantity must be less than or equal to the free stock (Free Stock).
3. After entering the required quantities of all products to be ordered, scroll to the bottom of the Product List.
4. Click the "Add quantities to cart" button in the lower right of the Product Listing page;
1. This will take you to the Items & Quantities section of the Your Cart page.
2. The items and quantities ordered will be shown.
